Jalalabad: The urban road projects are ready for operation

The package of 9-kilometer long urban road projects, which are located in three different parts of Jalalabad city, reached 99% of work progress and soon will be inaugurated.
The project, worth 128 million Afghanis, has been contracted by the Ministry of Public Works and a private company, which is funded from the national budget of the Afghan government.
According to the Ministry of Public Works, these projects have been built in four sections.
The first part of the package starts from the Farm-e-Hadda area and joins with the ring road, the second part is in Tawhid Mina, the third part is in the 10th watercourse area, and the fourth part is located in the “Ekmalati Base” area.
After the completion of these projects, the transportation problems of Tohid Mina, Farm-e-Hadda, “Ekmalati Base” and the entire urban community will be resolved. And in the big picture, this development will reduce traffic congestion and will facilitate a safe and sound movement for the entire population of Jalalabad city.
