MoPW: construction of roads in Jalalabad city reaches its 79% progress

The construction of 9 km of roads inside Jalalabad city, the capital of Nangarhar province, which will be built in three parts by the Ministry of Public Works, is underway.

This project, which has three different portions, the 1st part of the road starts from Farm Farm-e-Hadda Bridge and connects with the ring road, the 2nd part is located in Tawhid Mina and the last part of the project is located in the 9th region (Nahia) of the city.

The total length of these roads reaches 9 km, which constructions’ progress is reached to 79% so far. With the completion of this project, there will be a significant reduction in traffic accidents and transport congestion.

Otherwise, the completion of this project will have some huge impacts on trade and reduce the costs of goods transportation.
