Salang Highway; traffic flow returns to normal

According to the Department of Preservation and Maintenance of Salang Highway, the flow of traffic has returned to its normal after the personal of MoPW cleared the snow-covered areas inside the galleries that were causing the vehicles to slip.

"Our maintenance team is active to keep the highway open for the flow of traffic. We are providing facilities for better passage and safety of passengers in the north and south of the highway." Salang pass’s maintenance in-charge said.

According to the weather forecast, the snowfall chance in northern Salang is 25% and in the southern side is 30% within the next 24 hours.
