The construction of Road between Baak & Terizai districts is nearing completion

Khost: The construction of a rural road in Khost province, which starts from the Baak district and reaches the Terizai Bazaar of Alisher district, is under speedy construction that’s will be completed in near future.
According to the information of the project management unit of MoPW, this road project has almost 94 percent of physical progress.
Along with relevant structures, this 11-kilometer long asphalt road project was contracted with a construction company at a cost of 124 million Afghanis.
Meanwhile, the project has also been created 15,450 working days for local residents so far, and around 8,200 people will be directly benefited from the project.
Otherwise, the completion of this road will have a strong impact on the status of the entire territory among the four northern districts of Khost province (Baak, Alisher, Zazi Maidan, and Sabari).
Indeed, this road could also inspire thousands of people to engage in local marketplaces and will create more new opportunities for social engagement, trade, and regional connectivity.
