The 4th section of Gardez-Zurmat road continues with 24% progress

Gardez: The fourth section of the Gardez-Zurmat road project, which is 12 km long and 10 meters wide, continues with 24% work progress.

Ministry of Public Work says, the contract of this project has been signed between the Ministry of Public Works and a private construction company, which is funded by the Government of Afghanistan.

With the completion of this project, the basic transportation facilities will be provided for the residents of Zurmat district, and will also connect the people of the neighboring Ghazni and Paktika.

It is noteworthy that the road from Zurmat district to Sharana, the capital of Paktika province, had been built and constructed many years ago.
